MDG Companies of WV is proud to announce a unique series of Chalet Homes. The special quality of these Chalets lies in the use of pre-engineered construction, a proven method which produces an excellent product with savings to the buy in both time and money. Exterior partitions and the roof system are supplied by a lumber company in nearby Ohio. The patented roof system produces an interior wood ceiling finish with R-30 insulation value. Our craftsmen complete the Chalet's interior partitions and all interior and exterior trim work with the same quality they have been building into their custom homes for many years.
The Chalets are 24' wide and available 36' in length. The length can be increased in 4' increments. In addition, lofts are available in 4' lengths to accommodate any floor plan configuration the buyer may desire. Shed dormers in 4' lengths can be added for baths, closets or simply more head room on the loft level. Covered porches 8' wide are available from 4' and up to the full length of the home. Additions 24' wide can be added to either or both sides of the main Chalet to produce the Grand Chalet with much more living space. The prow front adds significant style and 4' to the great room and basement.
The standard exterior treatment is vertical fir siding. Upgrades to cedar lap siding, wood grained vinyl or any of the new cement-based siding products such as "HardiPlank©" are also available.
